Harko Studio
Overview
Soft curves and a stripped-back palette shape the calm, sculptural feel of Harko Studio. Seamless microcement in Clay wraps the walls and joinery, with a subtle skip-trowel texture that brings just the right amount of raw character.
Anchored by a burnished concrete floor, the space lands in that perfect sweet spot between minimalism and material warmth. Proof that even small spaces can be both effective and striking with the right materials and finishes.

Questions
Frequently Asked
What is microcement?
Microcement is a thin, cement-based coating applied by hand over walls, ceilings, floors and joinery. It forms a seamless, continuous surface with no grout lines and a soft, contemporary texture, ideal for a modern, monolithic look.
Can microcement be used in bathrooms and wet areas?
Yes. Applied over a properly prepared, waterproofed substrate and sealed correctly, microcement is well suited to bathrooms, showers and other wet areas, wrapping walls and floors in one continuous finish.
Is it durable and easy to maintain?
Once sealed, microcement is hard-wearing and resistant to daily wear, moisture and staining. Simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner, and avoid harsh or abrasive products that can affect the sealer.
Where can microcement be applied?
Walls, ceilings, floors, benchtops, vanities and joinery, indoors across bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces and commercial fit-outs where a seamless, textural finish is the goal.
