Slow work,

Our process is unhurried by design. Each finish takes between three and ten days to complete — most of it spent in preparation and curing, the rest with a trowel in hand.

Consultation

A site visit, a long look at the room, the light, the substrate. We discuss intent, finish and timeline.

Sampling

Bespoke sample boards in the actual material, prepared for review under your light.

Preparation

Substrates are sealed and primed to specification. The unseen work that determines the final result.

Application

Three to seven hand-applied layers, depending on system. Burnished, sealed, finished by hand.
